2011 at the Waukesha:

The Rhythm Rockets hail from Chicago, IL. The Rockets’ style of music reflects the diversity of Jazz & Blues that Chicago is famous for. Heavily influenced by the women pioneers of Rhythm & Blues and the sax driven Jump, Rhythm & Blues bands of the late 1940's & early 1950's, the Rhythm Rockets bring to the stage a unique style of American roots music that influenced many of today’s top artists.

The Rhythm Rockets recreate those authentic sounds of the 1940's & 1950's. From the retro clothes and instruments to the infectious back beat, the Rhythm Rockets have delighted audiences of all ages. Their stage show involves the spectator as well, with the crowds joining in during the shout choruses and the bar-walking saxophones.

The Rhythm Rockets current show pays tribute to the women who were the pioneers of Rhythm & Blues, a style of music that was dominated by men! “The Ladies Who Sing the Blues” show concentrates on the influential women who dominated the charts during the 1940’s, 1950’s and 1960’s.

Performing over 100 dates a year since 1996, the Rhythm Rockets have become a favorite to fans of all ages. Top Chicagoland venues like the Paramount Arts Center, House of Blues, Willowbrook Ballroom, Frankie's Blue Room, Chord On Blues, Green Dolphin Street, United Center, and the Rialto Square Theater have hosted the Rhythm Rockets.

This seven piece band, formed and established in 1996, has delighted audiences across the country. Performing in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin, Kentucky, and Connecticut. The Rhythm Rockets have recorded four CD's (two are out of print). In 2001, Columbia Tristar included 3 Rhythm Rockets' original songs on their FOX-TV show, The Tick. Which has been released on DVD.
