Volunteer Opportunities
At the Vintage Wings and Wheels Museum, we know our volunteers are our greatest asset. With the support and involvement of these devoted individuals, we are able to preserve rare aircraft, vehicles, artifacts and memories to ensure that they are available for current and future generations. We work hard to preserve these treasures, but we also participate in educational programs, exhibition and special events. All of these initiatives require volunteers to run efficiently and successfully. Without them we simply could not put on half of the events we currently do.
That being said we offer volunteering opportunities in a variety of areas. From gardening and grounds maintenance, to education and special events, we welcome any and all volunteers who are energetic and passionate about presenting transportation history to the people of the surrounding area and beyond. If you are interested in volunteering please do not hesitate to call the museum at (815) 547-3115 and contribute your time and talents to our wonderful museum.
