Each Thursday night, the YEA (Youth Exploring Aviation) and our Restoration Team meet at the Springfield Hangar where they are working together to carefully restore a 1941 Aeronca Chief airplane.   As of January 2012, both wings have been covered and the taping has begun!   The experienced members of the group have helped the YEA members in the rebuild process, teaching and mentoring for each phase of the project.
