Congratulations to one of our 2011 Scholarship Award recipients, Genevieve Clemens, who has been accepted into the United States Air Force Academy!  We are very proud of Miss Clemens, who is also a member of the Boone County Composite Civil Air Patrol Squardron and was a participant in the 2011 Flag Day Ceremony here at the Museum.  Good luck, Genevieve!

Each year the Poplar Grove Aviation Education Association and the Vintage Wings and Wheels Museum award a series of scholarships aimed at helping youth pursue their careers in both the aviation and automotive industries. Thanks to the generosity of the Thomas Family, Tom Forys Memorial, Janet Burow Zangs Memorial Scholarship, Poplar Grove Vintage Wings and Wheels Museum, and the EAA Chapter 1414 these scholarships are awarded each year and make a difference in our community.
