June Dog n'Brats Day - June 2, 11:30-1pm

Stop in, have hot dog or Brat, and be on hand as the Museum is the first stop for the Poker Run event supporting the Belvidere-Boone County Food Pantry

 

Next up is June 14, 2012 at 7pm

Flag Day Ceremony followed by Awards Presentation for the Poplar Grove Aviation Education Association 2012 Scholarship Recipients which will be followed by a reception with refreshments.

The Restoration Hangar project is a GO and the ground is being prepared for construction to begin June 1.  Please consider supporting the Restoration Hangar we plan to build along with EAA Chapter 1414 on the Museum grounds next spring.  This hangar will enable us to have a place to restore vintage aircraft, hold classes and seminars, and restore vintage automobiles.  This will free up the Springfield Hangar as exhibit space so we can showcase this vintage 1938 building and its contents.  All donations are tax deductible!   As of January 7, 2012, we have Pledges for $55,195 toward our initial goal of $75,000.  Download a Pledge Card today!
